Sebi asked Mutual Funds to Funding for Investor Education

The Capital Market Regulator SEBI has asked Mutual Fund Instances to provide a part of their IPEF to Amfi. So that, Amfi can use that money to create awarness among investors and their education purpose. 
According to SEBI rules, Mutual Funds have to spend 2 basis point's equivalent amount of their AUM every year for investor awareness. The Association of Mutual Fund in India (AMFI) will bring up this issue in the next board meeting. Currently, the AUM of MF industry is around Rs. 1300000 crore.
