Sebi asked Mutual Funds to Funding for Investor Education

The Capital Market Regulator SEBI has asked Mutual Fund Instances to provide a part of their IPEF to Amfi. So that, Amfi can use that money to create awarness among investors and their education purpose. 
According to SEBI rules, Mutual Funds have to spend 2 basis point's equivalent amount of their AUM every year for investor awareness. The Association of Mutual Fund in India (AMFI) will bring up this issue in the next board meeting. Currently, the AUM of MF industry is around Rs. 1300000 crore.

Future of Mutual Funds in Auto Sector

Mutual funds are currently investing 29985 crore rupees in Auto sector, which is 5.15% higher than the last month. Although, the Securities and Exchange Board of India is planning to bring in New Norms to restrict the excessive investment by any Mutual fund on one company.
According to experts, we will see the higher benefits of economic recovery in the auto sector in next 1 or 2 years. Stocks of Midcap and Smallcap companies are performing well and local market is expecting a much positive outlook by Midcap companies.
